Gems of La Costa has been owned and operated by Dale and Linda Condy since 1989. Dale is a GIA Graduate Gemologist with over 30 years experience in the jewelry industry. He got his start in the jewelry business as a high school student in 1965, working part-time in a family owned store in Chicago. He attended the Gemological Institute of America in 1972 and continued his career in California.

Dale and Linda met while working together in the same jewelry store in 1977 after Linda retired from a career as a professional ballet dancer. They've been a team ever since. They moved to North County San Diego in 1985 to raise their children and pursue their dream of owning their own store.

Dale and Linda operate Gems of La Costa with a simple philosophy. Our goal is to do business on a "win-win" basis. We want you to feel good about your experience in our store. If circumstances require some flexibility, we are happy to discuss the options to meet your needs.

While we hope you'll explore the designs in our gallery, we believe the best way to consider a fine jewelry purchase is in a live experience. Subtle differences in craftsmanship, colors and materials need to be determined in person. We hope you will be able to visit our store and allow us to introduce ourselves and our jewelry to you.
